This website offers you information about the medical emergency’s help service’s missions (SAMU) of the Alpes Maritimes which belongs to the CHU of Nice (Academic hospital center).

It gives the presentation and background of the SAMU 06, medical regulation of the center 15 or the CRRA (The center of the receiving and regulation of the calls ), the CESU (the Teaching Centre of Emergency Cares) and the Mobile Services of Emergency and Intensive Care Unit of the Alpes Maritimes (SMUR).

A pictures gallery is set on this website to make you discover a few activities of the service and its actors: the intensive care unit’s doctors and the emergency doctors, the Permanenciers of Assistance to the Medical Regulation (PARM), the anaesthesist nurses, the ambulence drivers, the logisticians…

Emergency medecine is a new discipline, still under construction. Step by step it has been recognized as a discipline in and of itself. It calls for a diversified knowledge: cardiology, pneumology, neurology, traumatology, pediatry… One of its exercices is the pre-hospital intensive care illustrated in the website.
